Our History

From Humble Beginnings to Global Innovators

1965
The Journey Begins

The journey of the Oberlin Filter Company began with the creation of our first (Olson) Pressure Filter, which was produced under license. This marked our initial first steps into the filtration industry, setting a foundation for innovation and quality.

1977
Innovation is in our DNA

This year, we integrated an airbag into our filter design, marking the transition to the higher-pressure Oberlin Pressure Filter. This advancement was a leap forward in our design and engineering capabilities.

1983
A Pivotal Year

A pivotal year in our history, we officially started operating under the name Oberlin Filter Company, becoming the sole division of Production Service Company. This was a significant milestone that established our independent identity in the market.

1990
A New Facility

To accommodate our growth and the increasing demand for our products, we moved into a new facility that boasted 25,000 square feet of manufacturing space coupled with 10,800 square feet dedicated to our offices.

1999
International Expansion

As part of our strategy to serve our customers on a global scale, we established Oberlin Filter Ltd in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham, England, signifying our first major international expansion.

2000
Plant Expansion

The dawn of a new millennium saw us expand our plant to 43,300 square feet and our office space to 13,000 square feet, a reflection of our growing team and increased production capabilities.

2004
Two New Global Ventures

This year was marked by two significant global ventures. We formed Oberlin Filter GmbH in partnership with Jorg Koslowski, setting up in Eschweiler, Germany. Additionally, we contracted with Jasontech Service Company Ltd. in Beijing to enhance service support for Oberlin Filters in China.

2010
Sales Milestone

A testament to our dedication and the quality of our products, we exceeded $20 million in sales, a milestone that underscores our market presence and the trust that customers place in our solutions.

2011
International Expansion

Our international footprint grew even further as we expanded our presence into the markets of Israel and Turkey, reaching out to new industries and sectors.

2015
New Facilities Overseas

Reflecting our sustained growth and commitment to meeting customer needs, Oberlin Filter’s operations in England and Germany both relocated to new facilities, doubling their production and office spaces.

2016
Moving Again!

To align with our global expansion and increase in demand, Oberlin Filter's manufacturing headquarters in the USA moved into a new state-of-the-art 97,000 square foot plant.

2018
Record Breaking Year!

Breaking another sales record, we surpassed $30 million, showcasing our continuous growth and the expansion of our market influence.
